On April 25th, Laura Sweany from Always Growing Design will be conducting a workshop discussing the details of ‘How to Plant a P-Patch Using Permaculture Design’ . One of the techniques employed will be Hugelkultur. This method of gardening comes from Germany originally and the word means hill culture or mound culture. It essentially means planting directly into a compost pile. What’s not to love about that idea?
