Sustainable Renton is dedicated to combating hunger in our community through our Food Rescue Program. Volunteers rescue nearly 40,000 pounds of good food from grocers and producers every month destined for our landfills. and redistributes it to senior communities, homeless encampments, and little free pantries in and around Renton.

All funds raised are vital to help purchase gas to transport food and maintain our insurance and food storage rentals. Without these resources, we wouldn’t be able to support nearly 1,800 individuals with nutritious supplemental food each month!
