Legal Advisor

​Sustainable Renton is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable volunteer Legal Advisor to join our board and provide guidance on legal matters that support our mission. This role would involve assisting with governance, compliance, contracts, and risk management to ensure our programs operate smoothly and effectively. If you have a background in law and are passionate about what we do, this is a great opportunity to use your skills for meaningful impact. Join us in building a more just and resilient community!

Environmental Advisor

Sustainable Renton is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable volunteer Environmental Advisor to join our board and help guide our sustainability initiatives. This role would involve working with the Sustainable Renton board to develop and implement environmentally responsible practices across our programs, including urban agriculture, food justice, and community education. If you have expertise in environmental science, conservation, or sustainable practices and want to make a tangible impact in your community, we’d love to have you on our team!

Volunteer Manager

Sustainable Renton is seeking a Volunteer Manager to recruit, coordinate, and support our incredible team of volunteers. This role will involve developing volunteer outreach strategies, organizing orientations and training, scheduling shifts for various programs, and ensuring that all volunteers feel engaged and valued. . If you're excited about bringing people together to make a difference, we’d love to have you join us!

Fundraising Manager

Sustainable Renton is seeking a passionate and creative Volunteer Fundraising Manager to help us with fundraising initiatives that support our mission. This role would involve working with the Sustainable Renton board to develop fundraising sources to support our projects. These sources could include events, private donors, and donation-matching programs. If you’re looking for a way to make a tangible impact in your community while using your skills to drive positive change, we’d love to have you on our team!

Luther’s Table Pantry Volunteer Opportunity

Time: Saturdays, 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM

Location: Luther’s Table, 419 S 2nd St. #1, Renton, WA


We’re looking for a kind and dependable volunteer to help staff our Free Pantry at Luther’s Table during our Saturday morning free meal service. This is a low-key but high-impact way to support your neighbors and make sure folks have access to the food and supplies they need.


What you’ll be doing:

  • Greet pantry guests with a friendly face and positive, welcoming attitude.

  • Record basic pantry guest information.

  • Restock pantry items as they run low.

  • Let our Food Justice Coordinator know what’s left at the end of your shift.

  • Provide information to pantry guests about additional support or services.


What we’re looking for:

  • Someone who can consistently show up for one or more Saturdays per month.

  • No experience necessary — just bring your reliability and warmth.

  • Comfortable chatting with community members and helping folks navigate the pantry.
