About the event
Would you like to help native pollinators thrive? Would you love to increase the amount of fruit coming out of your garden? Then join "Mason Bee Mama" Lori Church for a fun, hands-on class to learn all about Mason Bees! We'll talk about why these bees are so important, how to raise and care for them, and threats to their existence. Then, roll up your sleeves and learn how to harvest Mason Bee cocoons by actually harvesting some! There's no danger of getting stung (the babies are sleeping in their cocoons). You will leave prepared to host Mason Bee in your own yard and some lucky person will take home their own baby bees of their own!
Recommended: wear comforter clothes you don't mind getting a little dusty.
